The day begins with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world and an important symbol of modern China. Then step into the Forbidden City, where centuries of imperial history are reflected in grand halls, golden rooftops, and winding corridors. Walk through palace courtyards and admire landmarks like the Nine-Dragon Wall as you learn about life in the Ming and Qing dynasties.
At midday, enjoy a traditional Peking Duck lunch at a local restaurant, where the crispy duck skin and rich sauce are a highlight of Beijingâs cuisine.
Later, take a rickshaw through the cityâs historic hutongs. Visit a traditional courtyard home and explore narrow alleyways filled with local life. Along the way, sample classic Beijing-style pastries and relax over a cup of tea in a quiet courtyard, while hearing stories about local customs and tea traditions passed down through generations.
Beijing
After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the Temple of Heaven, a masterpiece of Ming Dynasty architecture and a symbol of ancient Chinese cosmology. Stroll through the expansive park where locals practice tai chi and traditional music fills the air.
Later, head out of the city to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall - famous for its scenic beauty and well-preserved watchtowers. Take a cable car ride up to the Wall, where panoramic views of the surrounding mountains await. Walk along this magnificent stretch of ancient military engineering, exploring its watchtowers and battlements, and admire the remarkable achievement of the Chinese people who built it centuries ago. After your visit, descend by cable car and return to the city.
Beijing
This morning, you'll be transferred to the railway station for a high-speed train to Xi'an. Upon arrival, your local guide will meet you at the station and take you to visit the Xi'an Ancient City Wall - one of the oldest and best-preserved in China. Walk or bike along the top of the wall for panoramic views of the old and new city.
Xi'an
Today, explore the awe-inspiring Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing thousands of life-sized clay soldiers and horses guarding the tomb of China's first emperor. Don't miss the exquisite Bronze Chariots displayed in the exhibition hall.
In the afternoon, stroll through the lively Muslim Quarter, known for its bustling food scene, aromatic spices, and traditional architecture.
Xi'an
In the morning, join a local Xi'an family for a hands-on cultural experience. Visit a traditional wet market together to shop for fresh ingredients, then return home to learn how to make dumplings, hand-pulled noodles, or classic home-style dishes.
After lunch, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, your guide will greet you and escort you to your hotel.

Upon arrival, your local driver and guide will greet you at the airport and assist with your hotel check-in.

After breakfast, ride the vintage Peak Tram up to Victoria Peak, where panoramic views stretch across towers and Victoria Harbour. Then, stroll along the golden sands of Repulse Bay, with its seaside pavilions and serene atmosphere.
Breathe in the incense-filled air of Man Mo Temple, a peaceful escape of glowing lanterns and coiled incense. Glide past vibrant neighborhoods on the Mid-Levels Escalator, stopping by the trendy Central Market and the art-filled heritage complex of Tai Kwun.
