Say hello to Beihai, and take a deep breath of the humid air of this subtropical city. After that, you will meet your private tour guide and be escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to rest after your journey.

This morning, take a leisurely stroll on Beibuwan Square, the central square of Beihai, to appreciate the iconic city sculpture "the Soul of South Pearl".

Head for Silver Beach, which is regarded as "the greatest beach in China". Enjoy a soak in the long white-sand beach and the soft waves, and you may even have an opportunity to catch some little crabs on the beach.

After the tour, go to the centuries-old Beihai Old Street in the evening to admire the arcade buildings combining Chinese and Western styles and taste the special snacks and delicious seafood.

After breakfast, take a ferry to Weizhou Island (about 30 nautical miles, 70 - 90 minutes by high-speed ferry, 150 minutes by slow ferry). On arrival, drive to Crocodile Hill Volcanic Park, the first volcanic island geopark in China, to marvel at the views of spectacular volcanic sea erosion and volcanic rocks in various shapes.

Afterward, visit the Weizhou Catholic Church, one of the four Catholic churches in the late Qing Dynasty. It is also known as Shengtang Catholic Church. This is a typical Gothic architecture built by French missionaries in 1880 using coral and volcanic rocks from the seabed.

Continue to Shiluokou Beach, which is an ideal place for swimming and enjoying the beautiful sunset.

Head for the Colorful Beach in the morning, which was formerly called "Sesame Beach" due to the small black stones look like sesame seeds on the beach. When the tide ebbs, you may find an amazing sea erosion landscape of the trenches layered within the stone surface and reflected by the dazzling sunshine.

After the tour, return to Beihai by ferry, and then take a 1.5-hour high-speed train to Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Province. Upon arrival, be met by your local guide and escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore around the hotel.

After breakfast, leave Nanning and drive about 3 hours to Detian Waterfall which is located at the Sino-Vietnamese border in Daxin County. It is ranked as the largest transnational waterfall in Asia and the fourth largest in the world. With over 200 meters (656 feet) width and a drop of over 70 meters (230 feet), the water rushes down a three-tiered cliff with huge force. Get ready to be amazed by this magnificent view of nature!

After that, drive to Mingshi Village which is 37 km (23 miles) away from Detian Waterfall, a land full of idyllic beauty. Known as "Small Guilin", Mingshi Village features the unique karst landform and a pastoral landscape of verdant hills, crystal-clear water, peaceful cottages and rice fields. You may immerse yourself in the stunning views by drifting down the river.

After breakfast, take a 1.5-hour drive to the Tongling Grand Canyon in Jingxi. The canyon is 2.8 km (1.7 miles) long, narrow and deep. Stroll along the path which stretches out under the old vines and trees, like a green tunnel leading to the center of the earth. The towering cliff, a spectacular waterfall, meandering streams and various rare and ancient flora make the entire canyon full of vitality and spirituality.

After the tour, transfer to Nanning by taking a 3.5-hour drive. The rest of the day is yours to relax.

In the morning, take a 1-hour high-speed train to Liuzhou, and then drive about 3 hours to Sanjiang to visit the Sanjiang Dong Minority Museum. It is the only Dong minority museum in China displaying more than 1,000 ethnic folk relics, by which you may get an insight into the history, culture, and customs of the Dong people.

Afterward, proceed to Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge which is renowned for its exquisite architectural skills and magnificent shapes by using mortise and tenon joints only without a single nail. It is an outstanding representative of Dong wooden architecture.

Later, visit the symbol of every Dong village - Sanjiang Drum Tower, "the No.1 Drum Tower of the World". After the tour, go back to the hotel to relax.

Today, drive about 2 hours to Longsheng to enjoy the magnificent scenery of Longji Rice Terraces. Walk through the village and go up to the mountaintop. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking view of the rice terraces by breathing the fresh air. En route, appreciate the wooden houses with ethnic characteristics and enjoy the tranquility of the village.

Next, take a 1.5-hour drive to Guilin to visit the Reed Flute Cave, which is known as "the Palace of Natural Art". Admire various stalactites and stalagmites illuminated by colorful lights and get a general idea of how they were formed.

Finally, go back to your downtown hotel. The rest of the day is for you to relax or explore this beautiful city on your own.
