This morning, we will drive about 45 minutes to the pier and board a scenic Li River cruise to Yangshuo, a leisurely journey that will take you through one of China's most famous landscapes, featuring dramatic karst peaks, bamboo groves, and peaceful riverside villages. Along the way, spot iconic sights such as Nine Horses Fresco Hill and the scenery depicted on the 20 RMB banknote.

Upon arrival in Yangshuo, explore the lively West Street, a charming mix of traditional architecture and modern cafes, boutiques, and bars. Soak in the vibrant atmosphere and shop for local souvenirs or snacks. 

Start your day with a hands-on Chinese cooking class in Yangshuo. Begin by visiting a local market to select fresh ingredients while learning about regional produce and spices. Then, head to the a restaurant to prepare a traditional meal under the guidance of a local chef - and enjoy your delicious creations for lunch.

In the afternoon, embark on a countryside tour through the scenic landscapes of Yangshuo. Ride a bicycle along quiet village paths past rice paddies, water buffalo, and limestone hills. For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, a private vehicle is available as an alternative to cycling. 

Travel to the modern metropolis of Shenzhen from Yangahuo in the morning. Upon arrival, head to OCT Harbour, a vibrant waterfront complex known for its shopping, dining, and leisure experiences. Visit the DJI Flagship Store to explore the latest in drone technology and enjoy interactive demonstrations by the world's leading drone manufacturer.

In the evening, board the Greater Bay Area Cruise to enjoy a relaxing night tour along the coast. Admire Shenzhen's glittering skyline from the water as you cruise past iconic landmarks and soak in the energy of this dynamic city. 

Meet your English-speaking guide in the hotel lobby and begin your journey into the cultural roots of the city.

Start with a visit to Hehu Xinju, a large, enclosed Hakka walled house with thick rammed-earth walls, elegant ancestral halls, and classic courtyard layout - an excellent example of traditional Hakka clan architecture.

Continue to Ping Shan Dawan Shiju, known for its dragon-like layout and fortress-style structure. Its maze-like corridors and defensive design reflect the Hakka people's history of migration and resilience.

After a hearty Hakka-style lunch, head to Dapeng Ancient City, a coastal walled town dating back to the Ming Dynasty. Once a key naval garrison, it features ancient stone gates, Qing-style dwellings, and historical relics, offering insight into early Shenzhen and southern China's coastal defense.

After breakfast, enjoy some free time at your leisure before checking out. Depending on your flight or train schedule, you may take a final stroll or shop for souvenirs in the city.
