Start your morning with a peaceful hike from Ping'an to an ancient Zhuang village, a scenic two-hour walk that meanders through picturesque terraced fields. Along the way, you'll encounter the famous "Seven Stars with the Moon," where seven untouched hillocks rise gracefully amid lush green terraces. As you approach the Zhuang village, traditional stilted wooden houses and age-old stone pathways come into view, offering a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage and timeless charm of this ethnic community.

After returning to Guilin, marvel at the surreal rock formations and colorful lighting inside Reed Flute Cave, then unwind with a leisurely lakeside stroll around the picturesque Rong and Shan Lakes.

Today, set out from Guilin for a two-hour drive to Bajiaozhai National Geopark, named for its eight sharp peaks shaped by erosion and weathering. Rare in the world, Bajiaozhai showcases four Danxia landforms: peak forests, isolated peaks, peak clusters, and intricate micro-landscapes. Don't miss Longtou Xiang, the most dramatic peak - an arched ridge a hundred meters long and barely 10 cm wide at its narrowest, resembling a dragon soaring into the sky. From the summit, look down over a sea of mist and hundreds of spiral-shaped hills plunging 100-200 meters, known as "Whales Frolicking in the Ocean."
