How to Explore Xi'an Tang Paradise

Xi'an Tang Paradise sits on the site of a royal historic garden that was used by the Sui, Tang, Qin, and Han dynasties so that you will be walking in the footsteps of the emperors. One of the key draws is the Tang Dynasty Chasing Dreams light show, where visitors are transported by boat and treated to a light, shadow, and sound water dance.

You can also explore a complete replica of the Tang Imperial Palace and participate in activities like traditional tea ceremonies and calligraphy. There are also several spectacular activities that we advise you to take advantage of while you're exploring Xi'an Tang Paradise.

The Ziyun Tower, also known as the Purple Cloud Building, is the central building of Datang Furong Garden. It's an impressive four-story jade and golden building covered in brilliant golden decorations and designs.

The building is based on one that existed during Tang Emperor Taizong Li Shimin's rule and houses the Tang Museum, which is full of impressive artifacts and tributes to Tang Emperors of old. In addition to the relics, you can see royal dance on the third floor and entertainment on the fourth. Make sure to visit the incredible water show right across from this building.

The Phoenix Theater is the site of many of Xi'an Tang Paradise's top shows, and the building itself is exceptional. Created in Tang, it features a wood and tile exterior, red pillars, and an ornate roof. One of the most popular performances in the Phoenix Theater is “Dream Back to the Great Tang Dynasty,” which uses beautiful costumes, music, and dancing to depict this era of Chinese culture.

The Tang Poetry Corridor, also known as Tang Poem Valley, is where you can see some gorgeous sculptures and learn about the importance of poetry to this dynasty. You'll find the Dogwood Platform, which honors the famous poet Wang Wei, and Tang Market Block.

Visitors can enjoy the Xi'an Royal Banquet, an authentic feast featuring the food of the Tang Dynasty, music, dancing, and art. During ten courses, guests will enjoy roast meat, dumplings, and fish accompanied by ancient Tang music. It's an immersive and unforgettable way to truly experience the splendor of the Tang Dynasty.

The Tang Market is a perfect replica of an ancient market where you can sample good food and tea and learn interesting crafts like calligraphy and painting. It's a fantastic place to walk around and take pictures of the area. The Shaanxi Opera is also located in Tang Market.

Tips for Visiting

While you can visit the Xi'an Tang Paradise anytime, it's incredibly brilliant when it's fully lit up at night. Spring and autumn (March to May & September to November) are the best times of the year to visit, as the weather is mild.
During the Spring Festival, a special lantern show will be held in the garden, and it's a great way for you to experience authentic Chinese New Year traditions. For a more immersive experience, we recommend that you dress in traditional Hanfu, stroll through the garden, and get some memorable photos.

Wear good shoes when visiting Xi'an Tang Paradise because you'll be on your feet and walking much of the day, especially if you want to visit nearby locations.

Second Honeymoon My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary by spending a few weeks touring around Asia. We loved how Odynovo worked with us to craft a tour of what we wanted to see and how we wanted to see it. This was our first time traveling with a private tour guide, and it was truly amazing. they took care of all transportation, tickets, and everywhere we went we had someone who not only spoke our language, but was also very well-versed in the places we were visiting. We saw Beijing and then took a bullet train to Xi'an. In both cities we had tour guides who had done this "a thousand times," and as a result knew all the tricks on where to take the best pictures, what lines to stand in, where to eat, and what not to waste your time seeing. At one point our guide pulled out ponchos from her backpack when it started to rain, while another helped us haggle for a good price on a new suitcase. We were surprised by how much we loved China, and it is safe to say that is because of the quality of service we got from Odynovo. Oh, and the hotels were great, too! In our first hotel my wife fell in love with her breakfast soup that she had to have every morning, while in Xi'an we were right around the corner from the Muslim Night Market and were able to get to it in less than 5 minutes of walking. We are already looking to see what tours we will be doing next through Odynovo, as the service was amazing, the quality was remarkable, and the cost was very worth it for what we received.

Amazing travel experience My name is Zarah M. Babangida a Nigerian and i visited Beijing with my colleagues from the office. During our 5 day stay in Beijing, Ms. Eva Ma, was our Tour guide and from the minute we came through the Arrival Gate of the Airport, we were embraced by her alluring smile and warm welcome. She remained consistent with her warmth, a kind and intelligent professional who exuded unique passion not just for her job as a tour guide but, even more so as a proud Chinese woman. Her outstanding insight and knowledge of the sweet Chinese history and heritage left us in awe. I couldn't be more proud and thankful that she was assigned to our group and she made our stay exciting, fun-filled effortless and knowledge packed. I absolutely commend her dedication to work which she depicted throughout our stay. I recommend her to every visiting tourist because to know Eva, is to love her. If it were up to me, i will increase her bonuses or upgrade her salary as i am sure most tourists would want or revisit for her sake first and then perhaps other reasons.Thank you Eva and keep the passion up🙌.
