The hottest time of the day in Xi'an during summer is usually in the afternoon, while mornings and evenings tend to be slightly cooler. In autumn, all the leaves of ginkgo trees and maples turn yellow and red, bringing a romantic and vintage vibe to the entire city. Temples like Da Ci'en Temple in the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda site and Ancient Guanyin Zen Temple will be immersed in a golden ocean of fallen leaves.
